We had a wonderful experience at Dentistry 4 Kids & Orthodontics – Irvine! Dr. Ruben was amazing with my children. He was very kind, patient, attentive, and truly professional. He made my kids feel comfortable and cared for throughout the visit. I also want to thank Vanessa at the front desk. She is always so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. She goes above and beyond to assist whenever we have questions or need help. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for excellent dental care for their children. Thank you to the entire team for your outstanding service!

40 mins+ long wait time after your scheduled time. First time here they were trying to do X-ray for my 3 yr old which made him vomit. Second time here we were 5 mins late and they said they do not offer any grace period and I could lost my appointment. My son likes his other dentistry better. Would not come again.

I’ve taken a long time to write this because I was so upset about the experience. My daughter had a 7:00 AM appointment for dental treatment under general anesthesia. We followed all pre-op instructions, fasted, and arranged our schedules—only to arrive and be told the appointment was canceled with no phone call, text, or prior notice. We were told “someone must have called,” but there was no record of any communication. No documentation or clear explanation was provided. I was then sent to the ER for the day, which led to an eventual referral elsewhere. I also requested a refund of the deposit and was given unclear instructions and difficulty getting it returned. Separately, I was told my 3-year-old son would need general anesthesia for cavities, and I felt the communication around that was condescending. I later took him to another dental office where he was treated in-office in under 30 minutes without anesthesia, which honestly made me question the approach taken here. Overall, the lack of communication, cancellation without notice, and handling of both situations was extremely frustrating and disappointing.

I definitely recommend dentistry 4 kids Irvine. My son needed to get a few procedures done. He was going to be going under general anesthesia at another location, and I was really hesitant and I went to Dr. Ruben for a second opinion. He said that he can try doing it with laughing gas first. (Other dentist at another location didn’t even want to try). I was so relieved that he was willing to be patient and try. Dr. Ruben was able to get all the work done! & now my son is not at all scared to go to the dentist. I would recommend this location 100%!

The doctors are very experienced and professional. The staff is friendly and super knowledgeable. They made check in simple and fast. Your kids will be well taken care of at Dentistry 4 Kids , My son actually looks forward to going to his dental appointments now!
